St. Cloud Man Hurt in Fiery Crash

ST. STEPHEN -- A St. Cloud man is being treated for burns and other injuries after crashing his car yesterday (Tuesday) morning.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says 27-year-old Aaron Fleck was heading north on County Road 1 in Brockway Township around 10:15 a.m. when his car left the roadway, struck several trees and came to rest in a front yard.

The car caught fire and bystanders had to pull Fleck from the wreckage. He was taken to St. Cloud Hospital, then airlifted to the Hennepin County Medical Center.

Several agencies joined Stearns County in responding to the scene, including Sartell Police, St. Stephen Fire and Gold Cross Ambulance.
