St. Cloud Man Hurt After Being Hit By A Car In South St. Cloud

ST. CLOUD -- A St. Cloud man was hurt after being hit by a car in South St. Cloud last (Monday) night.

The incident happened just before 10:00 p.m. at the intersection of 9th Avenue South and 4th Street South.

St. Cloud Police say 70-year-old Elaine Walker, of St. Cloud, was heading south in the outside lane on 9th Avenue South approaching the intersection when she hit 21-year-old Johnathon Ferguson who was walking in the crosswalk of the intersection.

He had almost entirely crossed 9th Avenue South when he was hit by Walker.

Ferguson was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Walker received a citation for failing to yield to Ferguson's right of way.
