St. Cloud Man Hospitalized, Ticketed After Two Vehicle Crash

ST. CLOUD - A St. Cloud man has been ticketed for allegedly causing a two-vehicle crash. St. Cloud police say it happened at 12:30 p.m. yesterday (Monday) at the intersection of 12th Street North and 33rd Avenue North.

Eighty-seven-year-old Hubert Dombrovski was going north in the 1100 block of 33rd Avenue North when he went through the intersection on a red light. A vehicle driven by 25-year-old Dennis Cook of Avon was going west on 12th Street. Cook's vehicle struck Dombrovski's vehicle, causing Cook's vehicle to overturn onto its side.

Dombrovksi was taken to St. Cloud Hospital for substantial, but not life-threatening injuries. He was not wearing a seatbelt. He was cited for going through a red light.

Cook had minor injuries, but was not taken to the hospital.
