St. Cloud Man Charged With Sexually Assaulting Girl

FOLEY -- A man is accused of sexually assaulting a young girl last summer while she was staying at his southeast St. Cloud apartment.

Forty-three-year-old Christian Flah is charged with two counts of felony first degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of felony third degree criminal sexual conduct.

Records show the 12-year-old girl was in bed on July 10th or 11th when Flah came into her room and pulled down her shorts and underwear, climbed on top of her, and began sexually assaulting her despite her pleas for him to stop.

The girl reported the incident in December and said Flah held her down and tried to force sex on her.

According to the criminal complaint, Flah told investigators he had four or five beers and did not remember what happened. He denied having intercourse with the girl, but admitted to touching her inappropriately.

Flah's being held in the Benton County Jail on $50,000 bail.
