St. Cloud Man Arrested on Alleged Domestic Assault Charges

ST. CLOUD - A 26-year-old St. Cloud man is in jail after police say he broke into a South St. Cloud apartment.

Officers were called to the 700 block of 14th Street South just after 4:00 a.m. this (Monday) morning.

Officers found Abdirizak Omar in a hallway, trying to break into a bedroom, where two women and three children had barricaded themselves.  Omar is believed to have assaulted one of them women.  He has a child with one of the women.  He got into the apartment by smashing the front window.
