St. Cloud Man Arrested In Connection To Home Burglary

ST. CLOUD -- St. Cloud Police responded to a burglary Friday evening.

The incident happened just after 8:00 p.m. in the 2000 block of 17th Street South in St. Cloud.

Police says 47-year-old Michael Gothier, of St. Cloud, entered a home, where he threatened the homeowners with a butcher knife and demanded cash. Gothier ran off and was later arrested at Coborns on Cooper Avenue South, before he was taken to the Stearns County Jail.

He faces charges of aggravated robbery, and simple robbery from an earlier incident that occurred the same day at the St. Cloud Library.
