St. Cloud Man Arrested For Multiple Outstanding Warrants

WAITE PARK -- A St. Cloud man with multiple outstanding warrants was arrested this (Thursday) afternoon.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says they received information that 28-year-old Curtis Brown was seen in St. Joseph Township just before 1:00 p.m.

Prior to deputies arriving, Brown left in a white Charger with two others.

Deputies were able to find the Charger near the intersection of County Road 75 and County Road 134 west of Waite Park, where a traffic stop was made.

The occupants inside locked themselves in the car and would not cooperate with authorities.

After several attempts to negotiate, Brown surrendered and was arrested.

The two companions were released without incident.
