St. Cloud Man Arrested For Alleged Strangulation

ST. CLOUD -- A 31-year-old St. Cloud man has been arrested for allegedly trying to strangle is girlfriend.

Officers were called to the 600 block of 12th Avenue North just before 9:00 a.m. yesterday (Wednesday).

The 40-year-old victim told police she was attacked by Charles Rainey.  She suffered non life-threatening injuries.  The victim had a no contact order against Rainey.  He's now facing charges of assault and violating the protection order.
