St. Cloud Man Arrested, Allegedly Threatened 17-Year-Old Girl

ST. CLOUD - A St. Cloud man was arrested on Friday night for allegedly threatening a 17-year-old girl.

Police arrested 22-year-old Darnell Lewis of St. Cloud at 9:40 p.m. in the 900 block of 8th Street South. Lewis was wanted for an incident that happened last Thursday in the 1000 block of 9th Avenue North.

Police say Lewis was having an argument with a 17-year-old girl and that he threatened her and grabbed her by the throat. She had minor injuries that didn't require medical attention.

Lewis is in Stearns County Jail to face charges of felony domestic assault by strangulation, terroristic threats and domestic assault. He also had multiple outstanding warrants for his arrest.
