St. Cloud Man Allegedly Attacks St. Cloud Hospital Workers

ST. CLOUD - A St. Cloud man is now in jail after he allegedly attacked the hospital workers who were helping him.

St. Cloud police say the incident happened just before 2:00 a.m. yesterday (Tuesday).

Fifty-year-old Richard Kurtzhals of St. Cloud is accused of assaulting three staff members in the emergency room.

Due to his medical condition, he was not initially released from the hospital, but was later taken to the Stearns County Jail.  He's facing 4th degree assault charges.
