ST. CLOUD -- The St. Cloud Public Library is looking for teens to come and help the library stay current.

Neil Vig is the Patron Services Coordinator for the library, he says the advisory board would help the library on several things.

"They kind of get together with the staff here and give ideas to create events to kind of cater to and draw in the more teen population."

He adds that it would be a great volunteering opportunity.

"Yeah it would be considered volunteering their time to help the library so they could definitely use the board as a resume builder."

Vig says the library is looking for four to five teens to fill the board. Vig says that the library had a similar board in the past, but the librarian who ran it has been on Military leave for the past year.

The advisers will meet Saturday from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in room 259.

Following the first meeting, the library will have the board meet on the second Saturday of every other month.
