ST. CLOUD - The St. Cloud Hospital recognizes Prematurity Awareness Month by decorating the building with pink and blue lights.

The colored lights will be displayed today (Sunday) through Saturday. The Children's Center is also decorated as a way to remember the sick and premature babies.

Last year over 300 babies were seen in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the St. Cloud Hospital.

The Minnesota Department of Health and Human Services are working with the St. Cloud Women and Children's Center on a statewide initiative.

The plan looks to implement policies that prevent women from being unnecessarily induced before their 39 week mark.
