ST. CLOUD - St. Cloud Hospital hosted its annual open house event tonight, over 500 were expected to attend for a rare look behind the scenes at the new operating facilities.

Families and members of the community packed into the hospital for the tour. Operating rooms were open with surgical equipment and technology on display. Doctors and surgeons showed off the equipment and were available to answer questions.

Kristen Buerman is the communications specialist at St. Cloud Hospital, she says the turnout for the open house was great to see.

"We want the community to see what we offer, with all the new technology. It's great to see so many people."

The open house also gives the hospital a rare chance to interact with and educate the community.

"We're here for them-we wouldn't exist without our community members," Buerman says.
