ST. CLOUD - When you think of St. Cloud, what's the first thing that comes to mind?  If you're having trouble coming-up with something, you're not alone.  And that's something city officials want to change.

The St. Cloud Economic Development Authority have approved spending $30,000 to work on the city's brand.  They've hired The Lakota Group to help create ideas.

Community Development Director Matt Glaesman says a team of six consultants will be in town the last week of January.  They plan to hold a series of public meetings, as well as use social media to help generate ideas.

The eight month process is expected to create icons, logos, and taglines that all city departments will be able to use.
