St. Cloud Firefighters Battle Flames in Vacant Building

ST. CLOUD - Firefighters from St. Cloud extinguished flames at an unoccupied building Wednesday afternoon.

St. Cloud Fire Department Battalion Chief Leon Faust says they were called to 10 19th 1/2 Avenue South near Highway 23 around 3:00 p.m., and cleared out around 6:40 p.m.

Total cost of the damage is estimated at $2,000.

Faust says there is evidence that people had recently been staying in the unoccupied business.

No one was hurt in the blaze. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
