St. Cloud Fire Fighters Collecting Money During ‘Fill the Boot’ Campaign

ST. CLOUD - Members of the St. Cloud Fire Department will be out collecting money over the next few days.

The annual "Fill the Boot" campaign is today (Wednesday), tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday. They'll be collecting change from passing cars at the corner of 33rd Avenue and Highway 23 from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. each day.

The money raised will be used to help people fighting muscle disease like muscular dystrophy, and ALS.

In 2013, more than 100,000 fire fighters across the country raised $26.2 million during Fill the Boot events.
