ST. CLOUD - The St. Cloud Film Festival kicks off tomorrow at the Pioneer Place on 5th. The film fest is the culmination of a year-long effort to encourage and develop a local community of those who want to get involved in filmmaking and movies.

The festival will start at 3 p.m. with a best of 2012 showing, this show is free of charge. John Scott, the executive director of the film fest, says the event will take place over four days:

 

 

Scott adds that this years festival will feature a lot of local St. Cloud and Minnesota talent:

The focus of this years event will be Women in Films. Scott says that the festival wanted to encourage more women to participate this year:

Tickets are available on the film fest website. The 3 p.m. show tomorrow is free of charge. After that, tickets are $5 for individual shows, viewers can also purchase a pass for all six shows for $20, and enjoy some benefits at the same time:
