St. Cloud Driver Facing Charges After Hitting Pedestrian

ST. CLOUD – St. Cloud police believe alcohol may have been involved in an incident where a man was struck by a car.

It happened at about 8:00 p.m. on Sunday in the 500 block of Highway 10 South.

The 45-year-old Askov man was walking on the frontage road when he was hit.  The vehicle was driven by 59-year-old John Neubert of St. Cloud.

Neubert was taken to the Benton County Jail and is facing Criminal Vehicular Operation charges.

The victim was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
