St. Cloud Downtown Council Announces Ubran Heroes Honorees

ST. CLOUD -- The St. Cloud Downtown Council is honoring four people next month for their support in revitalizing the heart of St. Cloud.

The Downtown Urban Heroes honorees are a group of individuals or organizations who are passionate in making St. Cloud's downtown a more vibrant place to live, work and play.

Honored this year are Brian Kern president of Makenda LLC for their investment in the 47-unit Lofts Condominiums along St. Germain Street, Penny White for her continued volunteerism and belief in the downtown and all it represents to the region, and Shannon Wiger and Brian Schoenborn, who have served as a catalyst for the downtown's future growth and helped create a lasting legacy for generations.

The honorees will be recognized at the Downtown Council’s spring meeting on April 18 at The Lofts Condominiums.

This is the 25th anniversary of the St. Cloud Downtown Council.
