Police are searching St. Cloud City Hall this hour for a possible suspect in the building.

The building’s been evacuated and locked-down while police search it.

An employee reported being startled by a suspect who ran from the building.  But Mayor Dave Kleis says there may be a second suspect — possibly in the air ducts — still hiding in the building.

City Hall’s 80 or so employees have been evacuated to the St. Cloud Civic Center.

Events began to unfold about 11 this morning.

Kleis says City Hall will be closed for the rest of the day.
