St. Cloud Boat Dealer has a Big Year [AUDIO]

ST. CLOUD - Here in the land of 10,000 lakes, if there's one thing we Minnesotans love it's the water.  Recently a St. Cloud boat dealer was recognized with the "largest growth" award for any Tracker dealer in the world.

Westre's Marine owner Jason Westre says they saw a 257% increase in sales this year, compared to last year.

Westre says, despite the slow economy, the boat industry as a whole is holding it's own.

Westre's Marine started in 2008 in Little Falls.  They moved to their location on Highway 10 in St. Cloud in March.

They carry the Tracker, Sun Tracker, Tahoe and Nitro lines of boats.  Westre says the most popular boat this year was the Tracker fishing boats.

Westre says they have five employees now, but hope to add more in the future.
