St. Cloud Bicyclist Hit by Vehicle, Taken to ER

ST. CLOUD - A bicyclist was taken to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle in St. Cloud on Friday.

The incident happened just before 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of 7th Street Southeast and Kilian Boulevard Southeast.

Police say 26-year-old Marcus Diedrich of Waite Park was attempting to make a left turn onto Kilian Boulevard, when he hit 21-year-old Christopher Dosch of St. Cloud.

Dosch was taken by ambulance to the emergency room for non-life threatening injuries. He told officers that he was riding on the road and that his bike was equipped with several lights.

Diedrich was cited for failing to yield, no proof of insurance and no insurance.
