St. Cloud Assault, Robbery Believed Related to Similar Crimes in Area

ST. CLOUD - An assault and robbery in south St. Cloud has been linked to similar crimes in the area.

The St. Cloud Police Department says officers were approached by a 22 year old victim who said he was robbed in the 300 block of 8th Avenue South at about 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday night.

The victim says he was approached by two men from two different directions who assaulted him, threatened him with a gun and then robbed him.

He received minor injuries.

The suspects are described as two white or hispanic men, between five-three and five-six, 150 pounds and wearing black hooded sweatshirts, black stocking caps and light blue jeans.

The crime is believed to be related to two other robberies earlier in the evening.

St. Cloud Police are asking people in the area to be watchful of suspicious activity or people, and call them with any information.
