St. Ben’s Tops Hamline Wednesday

The College of St. Benedict Blazer basketball team defeated Hamline 68-58 Wednesday night in St. Paul. With the win, coach Mike Durbin and assistant coach Denny Johnson become the first coaching duo in D-III history to win 600 games together.

Mattie Lueck scored 19 points to pace the Blazer win, and Tish Alexander scored 12 for CSB. The Blazers improved to 10-6 overall and 7-6 in MIAC play with the win.
