ST. JOSEPH/COLLEGEVILLE -- The College of St. Benedict and St. John's University continue to be among the top schools in sending their students overseas.

A report released today (Monday) ranks St. Ben's and St. John's #1 nationally among baccalaureate institutions with students who spend at least one semester studying abroad. The two schools had 398 students study abroad for at least one semester in 2008-2009.

The report also ranked St. Ben's and St. John's #5 nationally for the total number study abroad students, with 550.

St. Ben's and St. John's offers 17 semester-long study abroad programs in 14 countries.
