ST. JOSEPH - The President of the College of St. Benedict has taken a new job in New Jersey.

MaryAnn Baenninger has been selected as the 12th President of Drew University in Madison, New Jersey.  The school is about 30 miles west of New York City.

She will become the school's first full-term woman president in the University's 147-year history.  Baenninger's first day on the job will be July 21st.

She had already announced her resignation from the College of St. Benedict back in October, with an intention of moving to the east coast.  Her last day at St. Ben's is June 30th.  A search for her replacement is already underway.

Baenninger has been at the College of St. Benedict since 2004.
