St. Ben’s Grad Oversees America’s Olympic Athletes [AUDIO]
COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO - Most of us are excited for the Olympics to start next week, but a graduate of the College of St. Benedict has more than just a passing interest.
Glen Werner Roseboom is the Director of the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.
Werner Roseboom has worked at the facility for 15 years. She says the facility covers 35 acres and has 512 beds.
She says the facility is a stop for most of America's elite athletes.
She'll be working in London during the games recruiting new corporate sponsors. Werner Roseboom graduated from St. Ben's in 1993, and was a four year member of the basketball team.
