St. Ben’s Basketball Routs St. Mary’s

The St. Ben's basketball team defeated St. Mary's 83-56 Wednesday night on senior night in St. Joseph.  Heather Gillund led the Blazers with 17 points and Morgan Dale added 14 points and 8 rebounds.  St. Ben's shot 47 percent and St. Mary's was held to 29 percent.  The Blazers are 19-5 overall and 16-5 in the MIAC.  St. Ben's closes the regular season in St. Paul against St. Thomas at 1pm Saturday.  St. Ben's is tied for 2nd place with Concordia in the MIAC and just 1 game back of first place St. Thomas.
