SAUK RAPIDS - Voters in the Sauk Rapids-Rice school district are being asked to go to the polls on November 8th.  The district has put two operating levy questions on the ballot.

Superintendent Dan Bittman was on WJON with Jay Caldwell this (Friday) morning.  He says the first question is asking for a levy for just over $944,000 a year for ten years.

The second question asks for an additional $728,000 a year for five years to upgrade technology.

The first question has to pass in order for the second question to pass.  Each question would raise property taxes by $50 a year on a home valued at $125,000.
