ST. CLOUD -- Resource Training & Solutions along with the St. Cloud Diocese have partnered to bring an expert on bullying to the St. Cloud Civic Center Monday night.

Barbara Coloroso is a former nun, a wife, a mother, author and teacher. She will bring a message of "Bullying: Breaking the Cycle of Violence" to her presentation.

Coloroso says it starts by getting bystanders involved to help stop the bullying behavior. She says it is different than teasing which is what friends do. Coloroso says it's important to get the terms and definitions straight. She also says it is important for parents to give kids the tools to step in and stop the bullying.

Coloroso will be speaking at the Civic Center from 6:30-to-8:30 p.m. It is geared toward high school students, parents, teachers and the whole community.

You can register in advance at the Resource Training and Solutions website for $5 or the cost is $10 at the door.

Coloroso will also be giving a similar talk as part of the Diocesan Ministry Day sponsored by the St. Cloud Diocese.
