ST. CLOUD - Members of the Somali community in St. Cloud are reacting to the information released during Thursday's news conference on the mall stabbings.

Ahmed Said is the Executive Director of the Somali American Relations Council in St. Cloud. He says the stabbings committed by Dahir Adan are a "barbaric act" and there's no justification for violence.

However, he doesn't see a clear connection that he committed these acts in the name of Islam.

"What's criminal about reading the Quran or being involved in religion? Does that mean Islam promotes violence or reading the Quran has something to do with harming people? It is outrageous," says Said

Said goes on to say that while it is clear Adan is guilty, the video released Thursday doesn't show the whole story. He says the dots don't connect, and there's still missing pieces.
