Soggy Start to Summer Hasn’t Put a Damper on Campers

PAYNESVILLE – A soggy spring hasn’t deterred people from taking vacations.

Paul Bugby owns Bug-Bee-Hive Resort in Paynesville.  He says no one has been canceling their reservations because of the weather.

Bugby says the fishing has been good and anglers will go out with rain gear on if they have to.

Bugby says they also offer lots of arts and crafts for the kids to stay busy when the weather is bad.

He says business is on par with last year so far, but like the rest of us, he’s hoping for some sunny weather.
