Snowmobile Rider Suffers Minor Injuries in Crash

GRAND LAKE -- The Stearns County Sheriff's Office responded to a snowmobile crash just after 11:30 a.m. today near Grand Lake.

38-year-old Ron Reitmeier, of Rockville, was heading south on the state snowmobile trail riding a 2013 Polaris snowmobile.

Reitmeier was approaching Evergreen Road when he failed to stop at the road right away and crashed into a Dodge Dakota truck.

The truck was driven by 26-year-old Ryan Wimmer of St. Cloud.

Reitmeier was wearing a helmet and treated at the scene for minor injuries to his shoulder.

He was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital by a private party.
