St. John's University saw their season end Wednesday night in a 65-64 loss to Gustavus Adolphus in Collegeville. A late free throw provided the single-point margin of victory for the Gusties.

Patrick Butcher led the Johnnies with 14 points and hit a key three-pointer with just over a minute remaining in regulation that tied the game. Seth Marx and Nick Meyer also finished in double-digits scoring.

SJU's season ends with a 15-11 record overall and a 13-7 mark in the MIAC.
