STEARNS COUNTY - Six people were taken to St. Cloud Hospital after a three-vehicle crash on Friday night.

The incident happened just before 9:30 p.m. on County Road 75, west of 28th Avenue at the Sauk River bridge in St. Joseph Township.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says a SUV driven by 17-year-old Autum Saxon of St. Joseph was driving west on County Road 75, when it went into a spin on the bridge, crossed the median and hit a car driven by 32-year-old Kyle Knutson of St. Cloud. Saxon continued to spin and then hit another car driven by 35-year-old Jeffrey Bursch of Foley.

Authorities found Saxon ejected from the vehicle, she was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Jeffrey Bursch and his passengers, 33-year old Christopher Hoope, 27-year-old Tracy Bursch, 15-year-old Zachary Bursch and 14-month-old were all found trapped in their car. All were extracted and taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Knutson wasn't hurt in the crash.

Poor road conditions are believed to be the main factor of the crash.

County Road 75 was temporarily shut down and the Stearns County Highway Department was contacted to salt and sand the bridge. The Stearns County Sheriff's Office was assited by Waite Park Police, Waite Park Fire and Rescue, St. Joseph Fire and Rescue, Gold Cross Ambulance and Collin's Brothers Towing.
