Six People Taken to Hospital After Crash Near St. Stephen

STEARNS COUNTY - Six people were taken to the hospital after a two car crash near St. Stephen on Tuesday morning.

The incident happened just after 10:00 a.m. at the intersection of County Road 131 and 115th Avenue in Brockway Township, two miles northwest of St. Stephen.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says 53-year-old Raymond Wunderlich of Rice was driving an SUV south on 115th Avenue with five passengers. Wunderlich stopped at the stop sign at County Road 131 and started to go through the intersection, when he was hit by a car traveling eastbound being driven by 61-year-old Raymond Skwira of Holdingford.

Skwira was treated at the scene for minor injuries. Wunderlich and his five passengers were all taken by ambulance to St. Cloud Hospital. All six have since been treated and released.
