UNDATED - A warm front lifting north across the area today (Thursday) will bring with it a return to more summer-like temperatures. Widely scattered thunderstorms will move across the area this afternoon, with a small chance for severe weather overnight across parts of central Minnesota as activity moves out of the Dakotas and into northwest Minnesota.

Friday will bring with it highs into the upper 80s and lower 90 for southern and eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin as a cold front moves through. Thunderstorms will struggle to develop ahead of the front, but if they do, they are likely to be severe Friday afternoon.
