Shooting Woes Hurt SCSU Women’s Basketball, Fall 50-77

Aberdeen, S.D — St. Cloud State University Women’s Basketball team couldn’t find their shot in the second half, as they fall to Norther State 77-50 in NSIC play.

Northern State took a one point lead into halftime (26-25) and never led up in the second half, having a 27 point lead at one time.

Senior Forward Jessica Benson led the Huskies with 14 points on six of 10 shooting from the field. Benson grabbed a team-high nine rebounds.

The Huskies shot just 27% from the field in the game, while Northern State finished shooting 42%.

St. Cloud State will continue their four-game road stand next weekend, taking on Winona State and Upper Iowa.
