MINNEAPOLIS (AP) – Minneapolis police are searching for a suspect after three people including a toddler were shot on the city’s north side.

Police spokeswoman Cyndi Barrington says all three victims are expected to survive.

Barrington says the shooting was reported around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 2900 block of Lyndale Avenue North.

A group was outside near a parked car when a man began shooting.

A 14-month-old toddler was shot in the chest and a woman in her 20s was shot in a leg. Both were taken to Hennepin County Medical Center.

A 17-year-old boy also was shot in the leg. He was taken by private vehicle to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.
