Sherman W. Shellito, 81, Foley (formerly Oak Park)

Sherman W. Shellito, age 81, of Oak Park, MN, died Tuesday, October 7th at the Foley Nursing Home.

Sherman was born on May 25, 1933 in Ellsworth, Wisconsin, the son of Porter and Nellie (Bush) Shellito. He was united in marriage to Joyce L. Jamison on July 29, 1956 at the Peoples Church in Columbia Heights, MN. They made their home in Wisconsin, then at Pease, MN before moving to Oak Park.

He is survived by five sons, Sherman (Butch) Jr. of Underwood, IA, Roger of Oak Park, Kevin of Kiester, Randy of Foreston and Philip of Webster, SD; five daughters, Lorraine Benedict of Milaca, Edith (Kevin) Sederberg of Mora, Maxine Shellito-Laine of Little Falls, Sandy Dacay of Garrison, and Patricia Hilderbrand of Richfield; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Joyce, and a son, Jeffery.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, October 11 at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Princeton, with visitation being held from 10-11AM. Interment will be in Oak Knoll Cemetery, Princeton.
