Sheriff’s Office: Darwin Man Had 64 Grams of Meth in Car

DARWIN - A Darwin man was arrested early Thursday for allegedly having $6,000 worth of meth in his vehicle.

The Meeker County Sheriff's Office says they got a call just after 12:30 a.m. about a man smoking methamphetamine in a car at a home in the 700 block of County Road 24 in Darwin.

Authorities arrived and say they arrested 26-year-old Justin Delare. They found 64 grams of meth in the car with a street value of over $6,000.

Delare is awaiting 1st degree controlled substance charges. His 2016 Ford Mustang was also taken for drug forfeiture proceedings.
