MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - The convict who bolted from a Hennepin County courtroom is back in custody.

Michael Henderson fled from the courtroom and sheriff's deputies Thursday afternoon and disappeared from the Government Center building. He was not handcuffed or shackled in the courtroom where he was convicted of attempted murder.

The 25-year-old Richfield man was found guilty of robbing a Sam's Club store in Bloomington last March and pointing a pistol at employees. Authorities say he also tried to carjack a number of vehicles at gunpoint.

Minneapolis police did not immediately say where Henderson was located.
