Sherburne County Sheriff Makes Arrest After Finding Marijuana Plants

ELK RIVER – A Sherburne County man is in jail after police allegedly found marijuana plants in his home.

The Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant yesterday (Thursday) in the 18600 of 325th Avenue in Blue Hill Township around 1:30 p.m.

They were there to arrest 43 year old Kevin Pedlar on outstanding warrants, but when they arrived they detected a strong smell of marijuana. Upon investigating, they discovered 57 actively growing plants.

Pedlar was arrested and is expected to be charged with 5th degree controlled substance violation.
