Shed South of St. Joseph Destroyed In a Fire

ST. JOSEPH - A shed near St. Joseph was destroyed in a fire.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says the call came in at about 9:30 p.m. Thursday for a fire on Jade Road in St. Joseph Township, a few miles south of St. Joseph.

The homeowner, 49-year-old Richard Saatzer, looked out the window of his house and saw the shed was on fire. Inside was a boat, a refrigerator, and six alfalfa bales.

The shed is a total loss. No one was hurt. The cause of the fire is not known.
