Funeral Services will be 10AM on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Salem Lutheran Church in St. Cloud for Sharon L. Oehrlein, age 77, of Waite Park who passed away Saturday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Rev. Marlene Elmstrom will officiate and burial will be in Trinity Cemetery, Sauk Rapids. Visitation will be from 4-8PM Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Sauk Rapids and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church in St. Cloud.

Sharon was born April 21, 1940 in Mamre Township to Lloyd and Bernice (Bergman) Thonvold. She married Thomas Oehrlein on January 20, 1962 in Sunburg, MN. Sharon and Thomas owned and operated Oehrlein Trucking until 1995 and was currently employed at Handyman’s Hardware in St. Cloud. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in St. Cloud. Sharon enjoyed traveling, reading, gardening, watching the Vikings and Wheel of Fortune, playing cards, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a very social person and loved to talk to people. Sharon was kind, loving, sincere, determined, caring, and hardworking. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Sharon is survived by her children, Sheila (Naomi Munzner) Oehrlein of Minneapolis, Thomas (Meg) Oehrlein of Waite Park, Julie (Shawn) Friesen of Lino Lakes, Paula (Keith) Asplund of St. Cloud, Laurie (Ted) Leonard of St. Cloud, Robert (Heather) Oehrlein of St. Cloud, Andrew Oehrlein of Brooklyn Park; siblings, Janet Kiffmeyer, Jon Thonvold, Mary Mellgren; grandchildren, Emily Oehrlein, Hannah Oehrlein, Caleb Friesen, Chloe Friesen, Adrienne Asplund, Zachary Asplund, Nicholas Asplund, Samantha Asplund, Nicholas Oehrlein, Jacob Oehrlein, and Jonas Oehrlein.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas in 1994; siblings, Bruce Thonvold, and Diane Stuhr.
