Severe Thunderstorm Watch This Morning

UNDATED - The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for several counties in Central Minnesota, including: Benton, Todd, Morrison, Mille Lacs, Crow Wing, and Douglas.

A cold front will move across the area today. Scattered thunderstorms are expected to accompany the frontal passage. Some of the storms could become severe, primarily along and east of the Minnesota-Wisconsin border.

In the wake of the front, cool and dry weather will arrive for Friday, with fall-like weather prevailing through the weekend.
