EDEN VALLEY - Several people were taken to St. Cloud Hospital last (Monday) night after being exposed to Anhydrous Ammonia. The Stearns County Sheriff says the incident began at about 7:00 p.m. on County Road 180 in Eden Lake Township, north of Eden Valley.

A broken seal caused a 6,000 pound tank to begin to leak. Due to the lack of wind, the gas stayed in the area and did not dissipate well.

The Eden Valley fire department contained the spill.
