Seven Candidates Announced For Sartell-St. Stephen Superintendent Search

SARTELL -- Seven finalists have been announced for the superintendent position at the Sartell-St. Stephen school district.

The candidates are John Engelking of Proctor, Jenny Bushman of Winona, Jeff Schweibert of Eldridge, Iowa, Diane Moeller of St. Cloud, Ron Wilkie of La Crescent, Paul Neubauer of St. Francis and Debra Lechner of Brainerd.

Interviews with the school board with begin tomorrow (Tuesday) and Wednesday in hopes to narrow it down to three candidates by Wednesday night.

All candidates have superintendent or district office experience.

The next round of interviews will be held next week on February 3rd, 5th and (if needed) the 6th. Each finalists will be invited for an all-day interview, including an open forum with the community at 5:00 p.m.

The board plans to offer a contract to one of the candidates by the end of February.
