 Reverend LeRoy Scheierl will officiate. Entombment will take place in Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum in St. Cloud.

Family and friends may call after 9:00 a.m. on Thursday at the Church.

Ser was born May 15, 1926 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Joseph and Alice (Wuertz) Hagen. He attended St. Anthony’s Grade School and Cathedral High School, graduating in 1944. He attended St. John’s University for one year before being called to serve honorably in the United States Navy during WWII. Ser married Myra June 23, 1948 at St. Mary’s Cathedral in St. Cloud. Ser worked for Burlington Northern Railroad for many years, retiring as a Yardmaster. He was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church and the St. Cloud Granite City Post #V.F.W. 428.

Ser was an avid golfer and bowler. He especially enjoyed all the time spent with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Myra; sons, Jeff of Rockville, Tim of Cushing, Dan of St. Cloud, Brian of Verndale, Scott of Palmdale, CA, Chris of Stevenson Ranch, CA; daughters, Debbie Johnson of Las Vegas, NV, Penny Wasiloski of Fergus Falls, Carrie Gasperlin of Cushing, Sherry Hagen of Annandale, Amy Simpkins of Prosper, TX; 32 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Virginia Meyer, Donna Knettle, Leon Hagen, Bob, Hagen, Jim Hagen, Harold Hagen, Tom Hagen; and many nieces and nephews.

Ser was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Roger Hagen, Gary Hagen, and Richard Hagen.
