Septic Truck Rolls Over During Accident in Grove Township

MELROSE - A driver was injured after his septic truck rolled over on Riverview Road in Grove Township this afternoon.

At 12:50 today, Stearns County Officials responded to the crash in front of 32318 Riverview Road.

69-year-old Gerald Boecker was driving a sanitation septic truck when he went off the the road and lost control of the truck, causing it to roll over.

The truck landed on the passenger side, partially pinning Boecker.

Rescue workers eventually freed Boecker from the truck and transported him to Melrose Hospital.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the accident. The crash remains under investigation.
